1/4 cup raisins or dried cranberries (optional)

Preheat the Oven: Begin by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare an 8x8-inch baking dish by greasing it lightly or lining it with parchment paper for easier removal later.

    Prepare the Crust Mixture: In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, whole wheat flour, packed brown sugar, ground cinnamon, and salt. Use a whisk or spatula to mix these dry ingredients thoroughly until evenly combined.
