Peach Iced Green Tea

4 cups water

3 green tea bags

2 ripe peaches, sliced

1/4 cup honey (adjust to taste)

1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

Ice cubes

Boil the Water: In a medium-sized saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a rolling boil. Once it reaches a boil, carefully remove the saucepan from heat.

    Steep the Green Tea: Place the green tea bags into the hot water. Cover the saucepan with a lid and allow the tea to steep for 3 to 5 minutes, depending on how strong you prefer your tea.

      Prepare the Peaches: While the tea is steeping, wash the peaches under cool running water. Slice them into wedges. For an extra depth of flavor, you can grill the peach slices on a grill pan for 1 to 2 minutes, just until they have beautiful char marks.

        Sweeten the Tea: After the tea has steeped to your liking, remove the tea bags. Stir in the honey, mixing until it is completely dissolved. Then, add the fresh lemon juice and stir well to combine. Allow the tea to cool down to room temperature.

          Combine with Peaches: In a large pitcher, place the sliced peaches. Gently pour the cooled sweetened green tea over the peaches. Stir gently to ensure the flavors meld together beautifully.
