Ingredients

4 cups water

3-4 bags of green tea or black tea (your choice)

1 ripe mango, peeled and diced

2 passionfruits, halved with pulp scooped out

1/4 cup honey or agave syrup (adjust to taste)

Juice of 1 lime

Fresh mint leaves for garnish

Ice cubes

Instructions

Boil the Water: Begin by bringing 4 cups of water to a rolling boil in a medium saucepan. Once it reaches boiling point, promptly remove it from the heat to prevent over-boiling.

Steep the Tea: Submerge the tea bags in the hot water and allow them to steep for 5-7 minutes, depending on your desired strength. Remove the tea bags afterward and set the brewed tea aside to cool completely.

Prepare the Fruit: While your tea is steeping, take this time to prepare the fruits. Dice the mango into small, bite-sized pieces and carefully scoop the passionfruit pulp into a bowl, discarding the shells.

Blend the Fruit: In a blender, combine the diced mango, passionfruit pulp, honey (or agave syrup), and the freshly squeezed lime juice. Blend until the mixture is smooth and well-combined. If needed, you can add a small splash of water to facilitate blending.

Mix the Tea: Once the tea has cooled down to room temperature, transfer the fruit puree into a spacious pitcher. Strain the brewed tea through a fine mesh sieve into the pitcher to eliminate any remnants of tea leaves or solids.

Stir and Adjust: Grab a long spoon and stir the mixture thoroughly to ensure the tea and fruit blend seamlessly. Taste the infusion and adjust sweetness by adding extra honey or agave syrup as desired. For a lighter flavor, feel free to add more water or ice.

Chill the Iced Tea: Place the pitcher in the refrigerator and allow it to chill for at least 2 hours, or until it is refreshingly cool.

Serve: When ready to serve, fill each glass with ice cubes and gently pour the chilled mango passionfruit iced tea over the ice. To elevate the presentation, garnish each glass with a few fresh mint leaves.

Enjoy: Serve immediately for a delightful and refreshing experience. Sip back and savor your Tropical Bliss Mango Passionfruit Iced Tea!
