4 whole wheat flatbreads

1 cup marinara sauce (or your preferred pizza sauce)

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced

1 yellow bell pepper, thinly sliced

1 zucchini, sliced into thin rounds

1 cup mushrooms, sliced

1 small red onion, thinly sliced

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon dried basil

Salt and pepper, to taste

Fresh basil leaves, for garnish (optional)

Balsamic glaze, for drizzling (optional)

Preheat the Grill: Start by preheating your grill to a medium-high temperature. This will ensure everything cooks evenly and gets that delicious grilled flavor.

    Prepare the Vegetables: In a large mixing bowl, combine the thinly sliced red and yellow bell peppers, zucchini rounds, sliced mushrooms, and red onion. Drizzle the olive oil over the veggies, then sprinkle with garlic powder, dried oregano, dried basil, salt, and pepper. Toss thoroughly until all the vegetables are well coated in the oil and spices.

      Grill the Veggies: Place the seasoned vegetables in a grill basket or create a pouch using heavy-duty aluminum foil. Grill the vegetables for approximately 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are tender and have nice char marks. Once done, remove them from the grill and set aside.
