Ingredients

1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined

2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

4 large flour tortillas or wraps

2 cups fresh romaine lettuce, chopped

1/2 cup creamy Caesar dressing

1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

1/4 cup crunchy croutons, crushed (optional)

Lemon wedges, for a refreshing garnish

Instructions

Marinate the Shrimp: In a medium mixing bowl, combine the peeled and deveined shrimp with extra virgin olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and freshly ground black pepper. Toss the shrimp gently until they are evenly coated with the marinade. Allow the shrimp to marinate for at least 15 minutes to absorb the flavors.

Preheat the Grill: Heat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat until hot. It's important that the grill is sufficiently heated to achieve a great sear on the shrimp.

Grill the Shrimp: Once the grill is ready, place the marinated shrimp directly onto the grill grates. Cook for approximately 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the shrimp turn opaque and are cooked through. Once done, remove them from the grill and set aside.

Prepare the Wraps: While the shrimp are grilling, lay the flour tortillas on a clean, flat surface. Spread about 2 tablespoons of creamy Caesar dressing evenly over each tortilla to coat the surface.

Assemble the Wraps: On top of the Caesar dressing, layer the chopped romaine lettuce, followed by the grilled shrimp. Finish by sprinkling grated Parmesan cheese and adding the crushed croutons for extra crunch (if desired).

Wrap It Up: To create the wrap, fold in the sides of the tortilla and then roll it tightly from the bottom to the top, ensuring all filling is securely enclosed. If needed, use a toothpick to keep the wrap intact.

Serve: Slice each wrap in half diagonally and arrange them neatly on a serving platter. Serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side for a zesty burst of flavor.
