Ingredients

3 cups all-purpose flour

2 teaspoons active dry yeast

1 teaspoon sugar

1 teaspoon salt

1 cup warm milk (approximately 110°F)

1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs (mix of oregano, basil, and thyme)

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/4 cup freshly chopped parsley

1 teaspoon garlic powder

Additional melted butter for brushing

Instructions

Prepare the Dough:

In a medium mixing bowl, combine the warm milk, sugar, and active dry yeast. Allow this mixture to sit undisturbed for 5-10 minutes, or until it becomes frothy and bubbly.

      Mix the Dry Ingredients:

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, salt, garlic powder, and dried Italian herbs, ensuring they are well combined.

          Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients:

Once the yeast mixture is bubbly, pour it into the bowl with the dry ingredients, adding the melted butter as well. Stir everything together until a shaggy dough begins to form.

              Knead the Dough:

Transfer the dough onto a lightly floured surface. Knead the dough for about 5-7 minutes, or until it becomes smooth and elastic.

                  First Rise:

Place the kneaded dough into a greased bowl, cover it with a kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm, draft-free area for about 1 hour, or until it has doubled in size.

                      Prepare Garlic Butter:

While the dough is rising, melt 1/4 cup of unsalted butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Stir in the minced garlic and half of the chopped parsley. Remove from heat and set the mixture aside to infuse flavors.

                          Shape the Dough:

Once the dough has risen, gently punch it down to release air. Divide the dough into small pieces, forming about 1-inch balls. Dip each ball into the garlic butter mixture, allowing any excess to drip off, then roll them in the grated Parmesan cheese.

                              Arrange the Dough:

In a greased bundt pan or a springform pan, stack the coated dough balls in layers. Intermingle the remaining chopped parsley between the layers for added flavor and color.

                                  Second Rise:

Cover the pan with a clean towel and let it rise again for an additional 30 minutes, or until the dough balls look puffy and have slightly expanded.

                                      Bake the Pull-Apart Bread:

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake the pull-apart bread for 25-30 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the bread is cooked through.

                                          Cool and Serve:

Allow the bread to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before inverting it onto a serving platter. For an added touch of indulgence, brush the top with additional melted garlic butter before serving warm.

                                              Serving Suggestions:
