Ingredients

1 cup plain Greek yogurt

2 tablespoons matcha green tea powder

2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (adjust to taste)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup mixed berries (blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, or blackberries)

1 tablespoon coconut flakes (optional, for garnish)

1 tablespoon chia seeds (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

Prepare the Yogurt Mixture: In a medium mixing bowl, combine the plain Greek yogurt, matcha powder, honey (or maple syrup), and vanilla extract. Using a whisk, blend the mixture thoroughly until it's smooth and creamy, ensuring there are no lumps remaining from the matcha powder.

Prepare the Berry Mixture: In a separate small bowl, gently toss the mixed berries with a drizzle of honey or maple syrup if you desire extra sweetness; this step is optional but can enhance the flavor of the berries.

Make the Bites: Using a silicone ice cube tray or a mini muffin tin, carefully fill each compartment about halfway with the matcha yogurt mixture, being mindful not to overfill.

Add the Berries: Take a few mixed berries and place them into each compartment, gently pressing them down to ensure they are submerged within the yogurt. If necessary, add a little more yogurt on top to completely cover the berries.

Freeze: Transfer the filled tray to the freezer and let it freeze for a minimum of 4 hours, or until the yogurt bites are completely solid.

Serve: Once fully frozen, carefully pop the yogurt bites out of the tray. If you're using a muffin tin, you may need to run warm water along the bottom of the tin to loosen the bites for easy removal.

Garnish (Optional): Before serving, you can sprinkle the bites with coconut flakes and chia seeds to add extra texture and a pop of color.

Enjoy: These delightful Frozen Yogurt Matcha Berry Bites make for a refreshing snack, a healthy dessert, or a delightful treat on a warm day!
