Ingredients

4 cups of seedless watermelon, cut into cubes and frozen

1/4 cup of fresh lime juice (from about 2 limes)

1 tablespoon of honey or agave syrup (adjust to taste)

1/2 cup of coconut water (or regular water)

A pinch of sea salt

Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Watermelon: Begin by selecting a ripe seedless watermelon. Cut the watermelon into bite-sized cubes and arrange them in a single layer on a baking sheet. Freeze the cubes for at least 4 hours, or until they are completely solid.

Combine the Ingredients: In a high-powered blender, add the frozen watermelon cubes along with the fresh lime juice. Drizzle in the honey or agave syrup, pour in the coconut water, and add a pinch of sea salt to enhance the flavors.

Blend Until Smooth: Blend the mixture on high speed until all ingredients are thoroughly combined and the texture is slushy. If the mixture feels too thick or isn’t blending easily, gradually add a bit more coconut water until reaching the desired consistency.

Taste and Adjust: Once blended, taste the slush. Feel free to tweak the flavor by adding more honey for sweetness or more lime juice for acidity, blending again after any adjustments for an even consistency.

Serve and Garnish: Spoon the delicious watermelon slush into chilled glasses for a frosty treat. If desired, garnish with fresh mint leaves for an aromatic and refreshing embellishment.

Enjoy: Serve this delightful frozen treat immediately and relish its tropical flavors on a warm day!
