2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

4 tablespoons olive oil, divided

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup chicken broth (low-sodium preferred)

1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

1 cup fresh spinach leaves

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, finely chopped (for garnish)

Red pepper flakes (optional, for a spicy kick)

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot, bring salted water to a rolling boil. Add the fettuccine (or your chosen pasta) and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Once cooked, drain the pasta in a colander and set aside, reserving a small amount of the pasta water.

    Prepare the Chicken: While the pasta is cooking, season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning for added flavor.
