Ingredients

2 cups cooked chicken, shredded

1 (16 oz) container refrigerated biscuit dough

1 cup Alfredo sauce (store-bought or homemade)

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup broccoli florets (fresh or frozen)

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Begin by preheating your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish using cooking spray or a pat of butter to prevent sticking.

Prepare the Chicken Mixture: In a spacious mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, broccoli florets, and Alfredo sauce. Add in the garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until all the ingredients are well combined and the chicken and broccoli are fully coated in the sauce.

Arrange Biscuit Dough: Open the container of biscuit dough and carefully separate each biscuit. Cut each biscuit into quarters to create smaller pieces. Optionally, you can roll each quarter into a small ball. Spread half of the biscuit pieces evenly across the bottom of your greased baking dish, ensuring a nice base layer.

Layer the Chicken Mixture: Carefully pour the prepared chicken and Alfredo mixture over the layer of biscuit dough. Using a spatula, spread it out evenly, making sure the chicken and broccoli are well-distributed.

Top with Cheese: Generously sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the chicken and Alfredo layer, ensuring it covers the mixture completely for a delicious cheesy topping.

Add Remaining Biscuits: Place the remaining biscuit pieces on top of the cheese layer. It’s fine to leave small spaces between the biscuit pieces, as they will puff up beautifully while baking.

Bake: Transfer the baking dish to your preheated oven. Bake for approximately 25-30 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and fully cooked through, and the cheese is bubbly.

Garnish and Serve: Once done, remove the dish from the oven and allow it to cool for a few minutes. Just before serving, garnish the bake with a sprinkle of freshly chopped parsley for a burst of color and flavor.
